As part of this project, the company has launched an NFT auction, where the first item up for grabs is a 63-meter super yacht. This NFT is being sold through a broker named Alex Clarke and is priced at an astonishing $95 million USD. The buyer of this NFT will have their ownership of the virtual super yacht 100% authenticated on the blockchain, which will be transparent and accessible to all. Cloud Yachts has claimed that this is the most expensive NFT in the world, as it is a 1:1 virtual replica of a real superyacht, complete with party lights, navigation systems, lounge areas, and entertainment amenities.
